DIGITAL PRESERVATION POLICIES

INNOVA Research Journal has the following means for the preservation of its publications:

1. Institutional preservation: all journal articles are deposited in the digital repository of the International University of Ecuador (UIDE) available on its website.
2. The information is stored on external hard drives that update their content on a quarterly basis.
3. The journal is hosted on the Dialnet website of the University of La Rioja.

 

INTEROPERABILITY PROTOCOL

INNOVA Research Journal uses the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) protocol, which is based on the following formats:

1. DC metadata format: structure the metadata consistently with the Dublin Core format.
2. RFC1807 Metadata Format: structures the metadata in a manner consistent with the RFC1807 format.
3. MARC Metadata Format: structures the metadata so that it is consistent with the MARC format.
4. MARC21 Metadata Format: Structure metadata in a manner consistent with the MARC21 format.
