The circular economy as a sustainable development factor of the productive sector
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Circular Economy is a business model that is based on recycling, reuse and reduction of natural resources, which since the industrial revolution, companies have created many products, which promote consumption and generate waste destined for environmental contamination without further treatment. The main countries that are taking measures in this regard are analyzed and providing an example of improvement when promoting this model of economy, considering factors of design and innovation in the creation of products. In Ecuador, more active participation programs are being carried out in the knowledge and application of the Circular Economy, where the recycling of waste begins to take conscience in the homes and institutions in charge of the policies of sustainable application.
